ARGON
Argon Generation
Argon is valued for its total inertness, particularly at high temperatures. It is the most plentiful of the inert “rare” gases, making up approximately 1% of the earth’s atmosphere.
Argon is most commonly used in its gaseous phase, with a number of applications. It is used as an inert filler gas for light bulbs, as a shielding gas to protect metal from oxidation during welding, and as a pure gas in the semiconductor manufacturing process.
Consultation with Gas At Site engineers will result in the preferred solution for your specific on-site argon supply requirements.
Cryogenic Air Separation

Argon is produced most commonly in conjunction with the production of high purity oxygen using cryogenic distillation of air. It is recovered as a cryogenic liquid.
